This position offers the opportunity to be exposed to all facets of Cyber Risk including security, privacy, and risk management, and security and compliance program development. As a member of a team committed to overall data protection risk and its role in the company's continued success, the Cyber Risk Customer Assurance Specialist role is customer facing (internal and external) and highly visible. This role commands an energetic individual able to balance the dynamics of a high-paced sales team, customers with ever-increasing data protection requirements, and the need to protect UKG's interest in committing to attainable data protection terms.
The successful candidate will be required to:
• Work directly with customers/prospects and internal groups (sales, legal, security, compliance, etc.) to support RFPs, customer due diligence activities (customer inquiries, requests for information, conference calls, etc.)• Develop and maintain documentation and streamlined processes in support of customer due diligence activities and drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency and customer experience of the program• Confidently discuss UKG data protection practices to prospects and customers such that the listener is assured that said practices will meet their requirements in a cloud provider • Exercise sound judgment in difficult negotiations, keeping the objective in mind, projecting competence, and maintaining a consistent level of professionalism• Redline and negotiate information data protection contract provisions proposed by UKG prospects and customers• Liaise with all levels of the organization, including senior management, sales, customer-facing teams, and legal to inform and improve comprehension and appreciation of cybersecurity and privacy in a cloud deal• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications• BS/BA degree in Business/Law or Information Technology/Security related discipline or equivalent experience• 2-4 years related work experience in information security governance and/or related functions such as cloud/application security development or support preferred• Strong command of security, privacy and risk management concepts• Language fluency in English• Experience in complex and challenging contract negotiations and ability to effectively and persuasively communicate in written and verbal form across all levels of the organization• Ability to see the big picture, maintain composure, and protect the company's interests in committing to attainable terms while supporting the deal in the middle of a pressure-filled sales cycle• Must be an organized, detail-oriented team player with the ability to prioritize daily work and support multiple initiatives simultaneously; strong communication and customer focus is required• Adaptability to changing priorities and focus• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite tools
