Customer Service Representative
Job Description
The Customer Service Representative (herein “CSR”) is responsible for providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers at all times.This is a FULL TIME position eligible for benefits (Vacation, Holiday, Medical/Dental, 401K, and Supplemental insurance options). Will be REQUIRED to work evening and weekend shifts.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily.1. Drop-Offs - Greet customer; look-up account in system, receive the garments, and count each piece. Make note of any specific instruction from customer, print copy of ticket and hand to customer. If new customer, create profile by entering name, address, and telephone number.2. Pick-Ups – Greet customer; look-up account in system, identify garment location, show customer to ensure the order is accurate. Remove the ticket and the combiner clip from order, ring up the order on cash register, collect payment, and provide customer with copy of receipt.3. Marking Garments - The CSR is responsible for meeting the hourly target set for marking garments. If there are no customers to assist, the CSR will prepare the garments for cleaning by separating the dry cleaning from the laundry. Enter brief but detailed description into system for each garment. Print tags and staple to each garment accordingly.4. House Keeping – Responsible for keeping front counter area clean. Drawers at front counters should be cleaned, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Ensure that coffee is available for customers at all times, and keep coffee area clean.5. Telephones – Answer phone, direct calls, and take messages for those not available.6. Racking – Assign a conveyor number in system and place ready orders on the assigned location/conveyor. Price the Fluff / Fold / Flat orders, assign location in system, and store the order accordingly.7. Register – Close out register at the end of your shift, balance to the nearest penny, and fill out cash count report. The money is to be give to the supervisor.8. Problem Solving – Must try to solve problems that may arise. Some of these issues might consist of missing garments or orders, and handle damaged garment claims.9. Other Departments – The CSR is required to assist the Assembly department when/as necessary. Maintain and keep all equipment and the surrounding working area clean at all times.10. Adhere to all safety procedure and report any concerns to Director of Corporate Culture.11. May be called upon to assist with special projects and assume responsibility for the development, administration, and promotion of specific projects, as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
