Customer Service Senior Representative - Accredo - Hybrid

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for facilitating patient education and onboarding for Medical Channel Management and Accredo Convenient Care. The Site of Care Sr Prescription Benefit Specialist is a single point of contact that will assist patients with transitions between medical and pharmacy insurance processing and site of care coordination, through patient and prescriber outreach, as well as coordination with Accredo pharmacy operations.

This role has manual inbound and outbound phone calls.

**Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, between 8am to 6pm (30 minute lunch) 8 hour/day schedule - closed on holidays

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Serve as the main point of contact for Accredo Site of Care patient education and onboarding.• Provide the highest level of service on telephone calls and written inquiries.• Make prescriber calls to provide benefit education and clarify referral intent. Fax rx requests and/or obtain verbal rxs, when applicable (for Technician Certified applicants).• Make patient calls as needed, to ensure efficient onboarding (ie. Educate on benefits, including copay and copay assistance options, next steps and expected processing times, order status, etc.)• Act as a liaison to other Accredo departments and Multi-task between several issues.• Collaborate with team members to effectively manage large workloads.• Recognize and recommend improvements to processes and procedures.• Maintain reports, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS• High School Diploma or equivalent.• 4 plus years Customer Experience, 1 - 2 years Accredo experience preferred.• REQUIRED: Pharmacy Technician certification• Familiar with Microsoft Applications such as Excel and Power Point• Knowledge of RxHome and ESD. TMW, and/or Opsinsight knowledge preferred.• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Problem Solving skills including identifying trends/root cause and mitigation
