The Role 

As a Customer Success Engineer, you will provide best-in-class customer engagement while delivering highly technical solutions to our growing enterprise customer base in EMEA, ranging from Fortune 500 clients to government organizations. You will become a subject matter expert on Lakeside's proprietary solution, SysTrack, and develop best practices for implementation, configuration, and optimization of the tool for our customers, partners and other internal staff. We're looking for a ‘Techie that can talk’, a relentless problem solver with a high aptitude for learning technical solutions, who can build strong customer relationships and use business acumen that results in better product adoption and business outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to be the frontline expert for a highly technical product and intelligent customer base.  

What You'll Do 

The core functions of this role include: 

  • Delivering both technical and business value to customers, utilising the Lakeside Velocity Framework and related materials 
  • Analyzing software, hardware and virtual platform configurations to deliver insights using Systrack data to assist the customer in their DEX Strategy 
  • Enabling customers to utilise Systrack to achieve their goals 
  • Developing mutually beneficial customer relationships with a high level of customer satisfaction and providing continuous engagement to ensure optimal adoption 
  • Collaborating with internal partners across Customer Success, Tech Support, Sales, Product and Engineering 

What You'll Bring to Lakeside 

The key requirements for this role include: 

  • 5 years of relevant work experience (Previous experience L3, Technical Analyst, Technical Consultant, Solutions Architect etc). 
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (required) 
  • Ability to quickly learn the SysTrack product suite to become a functional subject matter expert. 
  • Experience implementing technical product solutions to large enterprise customers 
  • Ability to troubleshoot & analyze software, hardware and virtual platform configurations 
  • Extensive knowledge of EUC technologies, including VMware, Citrix and Microsoft products. 
  • Good knowledge and experience of WinTel infrastructure, including Microsoft AD and related services. 
  • Experience of Digital Transformation projects 
  • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the customer organization and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction 
  • A functional understanding of SQL query language, Microsoft SQL Server administration, Powershell, and PowerBI are required 
  • Strong organization, written, and verbal communication skills 

The following skills and experiences are a plus: 

  • Professional certifications in technologies from companies like Microsoft, VMware and Citrix such as MCP, MCSE, VCP 
  • Previous experience of DEX or monitoring tools 
  • Exposure to Software Asset Management, IT procurement, Security and Compliance Activities 

Additional Details 

  • Location: Preference for candidates that are in commutable distance to London and willing to be onsite 1-2 days per week.
