The Opportunity
As a Cybersecurity Engineer you Implement and review cybersecurity policies and tools for a variety of products in order to minimize risks to the business and consumers. Subject Matter Expert in cybersecurity topics and technologies, ensuring a strong cybersecurity posture for our ADC R&D product software portfolio. Front line employee in preventing cybersecurity incidents in our software or embedded software products.
What You'll Work On
- Develop, implement and maintain secure, resilient enterprise-grade cloud processes for one or more software and systems in tandem with architects and system engineers.
- Work together with development operations and development teams to develop and implement monitoring and security solutions in stand-alone and embedded product software and supporting applications.
- Secure one or more applications and up to thousands of computing environments across public, private or hybrid cloud infrastructures.
- Protect applications in compliance with multiple, global privacy, security, business resiliency and compliance frameworks.
- Conduct rigorous oversight of security systems and security configuration administration and define and implement solutions to reduce risk to systems and accounts.
- Assigned and manages breach and incident response activities for product and supporting applications.
- Actively monitor, assess, recommend, and lead tactical and strategic initiatives based on new and emerging threats posing risk to cloud computing environments.
- Lead remediation efforts after security assessment findings outline weaknesses requiring attention.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's' Degree with 0-5 years cybersecurity or IT management system experience with a strong preference for product security experience in consumer facing apps and services.
- Holds one or more cybersecurity certifications including: CCSP, CISSP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or additional AWS advanced certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, VMware Certified Professional or has completed necessary cyber coursework.
- Self-motivated, well-organized and able to position controls in anticipation of threats.
