About the Role We are seeking Applied AI/ML Consultants to develop innovative solutions that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI technology, building solutions that transform how Defence and enterprise organisations operate and deliver value.
You will develop AI/ML solutions using industry-standard models on cloud infrastructure, apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques, and ensure ethical and compliant AI implementations.
Your work will help organisations unlock new capabilities and efficiencies through intelligent automation.
What You'll Do
- Develop solutions utilizing industry-standard AI/ML models on cloud infrastructure
- Apply in-depth knowledge of statistics and machine learning to solve complex business problems
- Design and implement machine learning pipelines and model deployment workflows
- Ensure AI ethics and compliance considerations are embedded in solution design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into broader solutions
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and best practices
What You'll Bring
- Expert or highly proficient quantitative analysis skills (background in Actuarial Science, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or similar quantitative fields)
- Strong proficiency in Python for machine learning and data science
- Experience with cloud agentic development platforms, particularly Azure Foundry and Copilot Studio
- Deep understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
- Knowledge of AI ethics, responsible AI practices, and compliance requirements Wide range of STEM backgrounds that leverage or utilize data are valued
- Strong problem-solving abilities and intellectual curiosity Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain AI concepts to diverse audiences
- Tertiary qualifications in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, etc.)
NV1 security clearance required
