We are seeking detail-oriented, methodical, and collaborative data analysts to play a critical role in our organization and be part of our growing remote team. Your primary goal will be to leverage data and communicate your findings to help us make smarter, data-backed business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Translates business requirements from multiple business units to produce comprehensible data analytics and dashboards
  • Understanding how our business works and how this is reflected in our data
  • Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to develop and implement data queries, Python/SQL scripts to generate reports and spreadsheets of customer data
  • Create engaging visualizations that bring the data story to life
  • Assist with data quality, data cleansing, and metric reporting needs
  • Support the testing and reporting on new code and application usage
  • Works closely with Business Development and Data Engineering Teams

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business analytics or data science preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in data exploration and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Domo, etc. preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL to extract or manipulate data is required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics or another relevant discipline
  • Experience working with business development teams to deliver data analytics and dashboards as needed.
  • Ability to multi-task and balance requirements from multiple groups across the business.
  • Understanding of end-user reporting concepts (date grains, dynamic grouping, filtering).
  • Good understanding of relational databases, and ability to leverage stored procedures, views and other DBMS features.
  • Ability to develop an understanding of table relationships by reverse engineering complex stored procedures.
  • Experience using Python/R for data analysis is a plus, but not required.
