This role is part of the Value Excellence Center (VEC) within the Value and Solutions Consulting team. The VEC is a global center of excellence focused on driving measurable business value for Coupa and its customers by providing insights using data analysis. The VEC focuses primarily on pre-sales initiatives and supports the Solutions and Value Consulting team by providing complex data analysis and helping understand, analyze, and respond to various business opportunities and challenges unique to each Coupa Customer.

What you will do:

• Develop new methods and lenses through which to quantify the value of Coupa’s offerings to our customers
• Conduct analysis and make recommendations to solve complex business questions for Sales, Marketing, Product and other departments
• Develop new tools and improve existing processes to enable our team to expedite our work pace and elevate our quality of customer service
• Assist with Coupa’s benchmarking practice to understand how different types of customers perform, as well as how competing platforms compare

What you will bring to Coupa:

• Language: fluent in verbal and written English language
• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Technical experience: proficiency in using Python for data analysis, including writing scripts to automate data processing, cleaning, and reporting tasks
• Data querying experience: proficiency in writing SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis, with an understanding of database structure
• Experience with collaboration tools: demonstrated history of using version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab to manage code and collaborate on projects
• Data visualization experience: experience working with Tableau or Power BI visualization tools (or certified)
• Microsoft suite experience: advanced user of Microsoft Excel and proficient user of Microsoft Word and Powerpoint
• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Data Science, Economics, Information Management or Engineering
