Job Description:
In your position as Data Analyst, you will run the loan level econometric cash flow models to calculate the subsidy re-estimate for USDA RD's federal loan programs. You will support data collection and data management, perform data cleansing and data organization steps and be responsible for performing information collection and organization under the direction of senior staff. In this position, you will also:
- Work with complex data sets to generate the government's cost of loan programs.
- Create and troubleshoot SAS based programs.
- Assist with scenario analysis of potential new loan programs.
- Perform data cleansing and data organization steps to prepare the data to be read into the cash flow model.
- Troubleshoot issues with the cash flow model.
- Be responsible for performing information collection and organization under the direction of senior staff.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor in accounting, business, finance, or a related field
- Proficient with SAS
- Experience with predictive modeling using R, Python, or other statistical programming languages
- Quick learner with solid coding skills
- Experience with MS Excel
- Excellent Data analytical skills, be able to work with complex data sets, identify trend, variances, and troubleshoots
- Public Trust
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Desired Skills:
- Quantitative modeling, statistical, mathematical, business analytics, coding, and engineering background.
