Job Title: Data Analyst

Role/Responsibilities:

• Data analysis of existing source system data to help identify patterns aid in data quality and map data to new or existing requirements.
• These resources will work across different initiatives. They will Partner with business areas to assess reporting, analysis and data visualization needs.
• Develop knowledge of business and operational processes and recommend technology-driven data improvements.
• Document business requirements and functional & technical specifications.

Required Qualifications:

Knowledge in insurance, annuities or financial advisor systems

Experience developing SQL

Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (Cognos, Tableau, PowerBI )

Knowledge of Agile process methodologies

Knowledge of big data technologies and processes at a functional level is a plus

Salary and Other Compensation :

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
