The Data Conversion Manager is responsible for innovating and leading the Data Conversion Team. This team is a talented, growing group that is responsible for the high-quality transformation of data into Jenzabar systems. They are responsible for understanding customer data and advising customers on the best mapping of their data, developing processes to transform the data at the optimal times in the project and verifying the results.
Essential Tasks
- Provide supervision and leadership for Data Conversion team
- Evaluate current processes and workflow to recommend efficiencies to maximize customer experience
- Collaborate with Professional Services Leadership on overall implementation process improvement
- Evaluate tools and technologies to recommend best solutions to automate the process and quality outcome
- Create a culture of ownership and accountability on the team
- Build team strength and ensure team has the appropriate training and professional development
- Serve as the escalation path for customer issues or concerns for the Data Conversion team
- Interface with customer leadership as needed to review projects and determine requirements
- Ability to quickly assess a request, assess urgency and outline a resolution
- Collaborate with the team to provide data conversion services and pricing
- Foster cross-departmental cooperation and positive communication and collaboration
- Monitor departmental measurements such as utilization to ensure that the team is fully utilized
- Track and report status of projects to leadership
- Ensure timely and proactive communication
- Monitor staffing and recommend additional hires as needed
- Assist Sales with new opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
- 8+ years relevant experience
- 2+ years management responsibility
- Strong technical background, including experience with MS SQL Server and a solid understanding of relational databases
- Experience with data conversion and software implementation projects
- Experience with a Jenzabar SIS preferred
- Experience with SmartSheet or other project collaboration tools
