Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer at Podium you will be responsible for the infrastructure that supports all analytics projects, dashboards, reports, and models. You will be developing and maintaining the infrastructure for various teams to create data pipelines and helping those teams with data warehouse design. The team is responsible for the health of the data warehouse and monitoring pipeline success rates. 

What you will be doing:

• Create the infrastructure that generates key insights that support our business
• Support and monitor data storage, migration, and transformation
• Work with internal and external API’s 

What you should have:

• 2+ years of work experience SQL and experience with multiple flavors
• 2+ years of work experience with a scripting language (Python preferred)
• Experience with Snowflake, Postgres, or MariaDB
• ETL Experience (DBT, Fivetran, Airflow)
• Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Information Systems, or hands-on job experience with data science or analytics
• You are committed to honesty and a diverse and inclusive workplace

• Ability to understand the business logic for structuring data in a given way while also understanding and overcoming the technical limitations and challenges of implementing the desired data structure
