We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our enterprise tech client’s data and insights team. This is an opportunity to work on a data services platform for monetization, revenue optimization, and business planning.

Would you like to…

• Work with senior management, technical and client teams to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage, and analysis strategies.
• Design, implement, automate, and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes on Microsoft Azure platform.
• Design data architecture to support the total data requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
• Design and implement end-to-end data solutions including Azure data lake resource maintenance, data pipelines, and data visualizations.
• Builds and maintains moderately complex data visualizations.
• Use Continuous integration and continuous development process for code management.
• Modify existing data stores and support the creation and maintenance of new ones on Azure data platforms.
• Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.

We would like you to have…

• 5+ years of experience implementing moderately complex Microsoft cloud-based data solutions including Azure data lake, data factory and DataBricks.
• 5+ years of experience in dimensional modelling.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing ETL and ELT processes in Azure.
• Experience developing data orchestration through Databricks, Azure Synapse & Data Factory.
• Working knowledge of code management through CI/CD process.
• Experience with building moderately complex data visualizations on Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python (or a similar scripting language)
• Agile project management experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
• Experience working with Microsoft is strongly preferred.
