Job Description

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to executing our ambitious vision. Our client is a US-based multinational provider of health information technology platforms and services. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Poland, with working hours from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM CET.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance client's application for both internal and customer use
  • Contribute to backend development using Java and standard REST services
  • Manage and optimize backend databases
  • Process and transform data using tools such as Spark and Cloud Services
  • Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading of big data systems and applications

  • At least 3 years in software development with Big Data technologies
  • Proficiency in Java, with a focus on distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark
  • Experience in developing and integrating RESTful web services using Java
  • Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure (primarily in AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with Spark Streaming or similar streaming technologies
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation tasks
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud
