This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Science Intern, Marketing Analytics in the United States.
As a Marketing Analytics Intern, you will play a vital role in helping the marketing and growth teams make data-driven decisions that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze the complete user lifecycle, evaluate marketing channel effectiveness, and identify trends and opportunities to optimize campaigns. This role provides hands-on experience with data analysis, visualization, and attribution modeling, giving you the chance to apply your analytical skills in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Your contributions will directly support marketing strategies and help shape the user experience for a large and growing customer base. Ideal candidates are curious, proactive, and eager to learn from a collaborative and dynamic analytics team.

Accountabilities:

  • Assist in building and maintaining marketing attribution frameworks and user journey tracking to understand growth and retention.
  • Analyze user behavior and marketing data to uncover trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Support tracking systems and generate detailed performance reports on campaigns and user engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and data teams to align analytics efforts with broader business goals.
  • Provide actionable, data-backed recommendations to optimize marketing timing, channels, and user interactions.
  • Stay current on marketing analytics best practices and emerging tools to enhance reporting and insights.

  • Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience from coursework, internships, or projects in marketing analytics, data analysis, or similar domains.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
  • Exposure to business intelligence and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Sigma.
  • Basic understanding of marketing attribution, UTM parameters, and tracking concepts.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive, curiosity-driven mindset.
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred: knowledge of A/B testing, predictive analytics, and mobile measurement frameworks such as SKAdNetwork.
