We're looking for a Data Scientist to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT as part of our Technology function.

This Data Scientist with ML engineering skills (Python, PySpark) will work on an innovative team to develop products for any of the several companies/brands in the Digital Commerce businesses in Ascential. This role requires comfort working with Big Data and tools that go with it, such as Spark and AWS cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep our customers in mind for all decisions
• Data processing from cleaning through feature engineering
• Analysis and decision documentation
• Model building
• Set realistic expectations for model performance
• Graceful and generous collaboration with others
• Concise and effective communication of abstract ideas to audiences of differing levels of knowledge

Your Experience

• Python (including OOP)Spark / PySpark experience preferred5+ years' experience at a market research firm within the digital or e-commerce space.
• 2 years of experience ML engineering on shipped products
• Proven competence with Statistics and Probability
• Conceptual mathematical fluency
• Experience with AWS or other cloud computing tools
• preferred Experience with DataBricks a plus Advanced degrees, publications, patents a plus but not required
