About The Role & Team

We are looking for a sound business thinker with excellent communication and collaboration skills who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment to join our global Deal Desk team.  As a Deal Desk Analyst,  you will be responsible for supporting our Quote to Order Process.  You will be a business partner to the sales teams in structuring and pricing transactions that support  sustainable growth.  You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Finance and Accounting to find creative solutions for transactional and operational challenges.  
Ideally working Pacific Standard or Central timezone. 

 As a Deal Desk Analyst, you will: 

  • Serve as a trusted business advisor to sales in the deal pricing and approval process.  This includes providing guidance on commercial deal structure and non-standard deal terms.
  • Approve all non-standard pricing requests. Ensure all required approvals are obtained and documented. Ensure that all transactions follow internal revenue recognition guidelines and operational guidelines.
  • Partner with internal organizations to understand requirements for the deal Order Form, structure and business terms.  Identify potential risks across opportunities, while serving as an advocate for the sales teams in the approval process.
  • Partner with  Legal,  Revenue and Product teams to document non-standard terms and structures, mitigate risk and ensure proper revenue recognition.
  • Identify process improvements in the Quote to Order process and formulate creative solutions to increase deal velocity.
  • Drive best practices and provide cross-training to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness across the organization

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • You enjoy working in a fast paced environment
  • 3+ years of experience in deal desk/sales operations or deal strategy and a Bachelor’s degree
  • You are detail-oriented and can anticipate issues before they become problems
  • You are a clear and thoughtful communicator with strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Salesforce

This role is eligible for equity, benefits and other forms of compensation.
Based on Colorado law, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado. Colorado range: $84,000 - $126,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus)
Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in New York City. New York City salary range: $93,000 - $140,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus)
Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $93,000 - $140,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus)
Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $84,000 - $126,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus)
Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $84,000 - $126,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus )
Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only: unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary), medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans. Finally, a company sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
