JOB SUMMARY
The Defect Coding Analyst must be NASSCO certified or willing to become NASSCO certified. NASSCO is an industry group that has defined standards for pipeline inspection. CUES will provide this training which takes a few days to complete.
The role of the Defect Coding Analyst will be to review and verify proper defect coding done by AI to ensure the defects have been properly coded according to NASSCO standards before signing off on the client deliverables. This position will be an important part of the AI operations of the CUES Software Division which is growing quickly.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be able to work in our offices on a daily basis; hybrid is possible with demonstrated skill and learned experience.
- Possess the aptitude to receive training and become certified by our company training staff on industry standards.
- Be rigorously detail oriented, data-driven and continuously working to identify areas to improve operational processes.
- Possess technical know-how, with experience using digital media management systems and using cloud-based software.
- Have demonstrated ability to execute projects working in a self-directed way with priorities/deadlines that may shift quickly.
- Hold a relevant degree, an equivalent qualification or demonstrated ability to perform.
- Ability to take on multiple customer assignments.
- Interest in Artificial Intelligence.
- Familiarity with working with customers 10% of the time.
- Proficient in project management and cost management.
- Excellent team collaboration skills.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
- Once trained, possess a strong ability to perform work with little or no supervision.
- Strong ability to prioritize work effectively and manage task completion.
- Excellent eyesight with the ability to concentrate.
