Defect Coding Specialist

We are a 58 year old robotics company based in Orlando seeking a very capable technologist with people skills to help start a new service offering within our software business that is focused on Artificial Intelligence with Defect Coding As A Service (DCAAS). Our customers send our robots into water lines, sewer lines, gas lines, tunnels, wells, caves, mines, etc. - anywhere you would not want a person to go. In addition to capturing video, our software collects information from radar sensors, Lidar, sonar and many other sensory technologies for condition assessment. The information is stored in our industry-leading Cloud software platform that major utilities use to meet regulatory compliance mandates from the EPA, DOT, etc.

We are looking for a service-oriented Process Technician who has project management experience with a solid, proven record in process building, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, and meeting client deadlines.

CUES expects this new Defect Coding Service with AI to expand rapidly which will require additional staff which this position shall manage. We are looking for a technical manager who can build an effective team and direct a profitable and rewarding service to our existing clients as an extension of our industry-leading software business.

Job Requirements and Skills

• Be able to work in our offices on a daily basis; hybrid is possible once operations are steady
• Possess the aptitude to receive training and become certified by our company training staff on industry standards
• Must have excellent communication and time management skills
• Be rigorously detail oriented, data-driven and continuously working to identify areas to improve operational processes
• Possess technical know-how, with experience using digital media management systems and using cloud-based software
• Have demonstrated ability to execute projects working in a self-directed way with priorities/deadlines that may shift quickly
• Hold a relevant degree, an equivalent qualification or demonstrated ability to perform
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence with the ability to collaborate with our AI team to develop and improve capabilities, features, and workflow
• Familiarity with working with customers 15% of the time
• Proficient in project management and cost management
• Excellent team collaboration skills
• Able to handle multiple projects at the same time with accuracy, efficiency, and transparency
• Once trained, possess a strong ability to perform work with little or no supervision
• Strong ability to prioritize work effectively and manage task completion
• Good eyesight with the ability to concentrate
