Accountabilities:

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of high-profile social and cultivation events designed to expand donor engagement and revenue streams.
  • Identify, cultivate, and secure major gifts, corporate sponsorships, table sales, and auction contributions using structured donor management strategies.
  • Recruit, engage, and manage executive and volunteer leadership committees to support fundraising and event success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, board members, and community leaders to drive long-term philanthropic partnerships.
  • Oversee event logistics and revenue optimization strategies, including sponsorship packages, auctions, paddle raises, and donor engagement activities.
  • Prepare revenue forecasts, performance reports, and executive briefings for senior leadership and governance stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with development, strategy, and revenue teams to align fundraising initiatives and best practices.
  • Serve as a mission ambassador by representing the organization at community and donor-facing engagements.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
    • 7–10 years of progressive experience in development, fundraising, or nonprofit event leadership.
    • Proven track record of leading large-scale gala events generating $1M+ in revenue.
    • Demonstrated success in major gift fundraising, including prospect identification, cultivation, and closing.
    • Strong experience building corporate sponsorship pipelines and long-term donor relationships.
    • Ability to create compelling, tailored fundraising proposals for diverse donor audiences.
    • Experience working directly with senior executives, board members, and high-level stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational and budget management skills with proficiency in CRM systems.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
    • Passion for mission-driven work and comfort operating in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary range: $70,000 – $90,000 annually
      • Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
      • Retirement plan with 6% employer match
      • Unlimited paid time off policy
