What you'll do:  

As a member of the DevOps team you will:

• Promote DevOps practices across the Engineering organization
• Maintain the cloud platform used to deploy applications
• “Create, gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning 
• Troubleshoot critical issues that may involve many systems in a distributed architecture.
• Build prototypes to evaluate technical feasibility, as well develop entire features as needed.
• Promote and drive innovation in technologies, processes, and tools.
• Help implement the engineering department’s strategy and processes.

What we're looking for:

• 3-5 years of AWS experience 
• AWS Certification DevOps or Associate Architect
• Terraform with AWS (Terragrunt is a plus)
• Familiarity with monitoring tooling such as Data Dog, Cloudfront, Splunk, and Grafana
• Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure as code
• Codepipeline/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy is a plus
• Linux experience, admin level preferably
• EC2 mandatory
• ECS experience
• Networking skills , DNS, VPCs, Subnets
• Security in the cloud
• Docker
• Experience using git
• RDS
• Backup and recovery in AWS is a plus
