Sentara Health is currently hiring a Digital Paid Media Specialist for the Consumer Experience Marketing team!

This is a full-time position with day shift hours and excellent benefits!

The position is located in VA with a REMOTE opportunity - work from home is available only in these states:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience strategizing and optimizing paid media campaigns to achieve business goals.
  • Experience with conducting A/B test experiments and multivariate testing preferred.
  • Hands-on experience setting up and optimizing paid media campaigns directly in platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong technical competency across key paid search, social, and display platforms including Google Search Ads, Display Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.
  • In-depth understanding of paid search with up-to-date techniques, ranking factors, bidding mechanisms, and ad best practices preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical orientation, and ability to collaborate with external agencies and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to think critically and develop data-driven and practical recommendations to support overall digital marketing strategies and efforts.
  • Agile Marketing experience preferred.
  • Technical background with knowledge of website analytics, audiences, and data preferred.
  • Digital Marketing experience in healthcare is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop paid media strategy by strategizing and advising comprehensive campaign plans (e.g., audiences, channels, budgets, timing, ad messaging, etc.)
  • Drive agile consumer engagement through A/B testing various campaign optimization treatments to improve paid media performance.
  • Conduct keyword research, advising on ad spending, ad placement, and bidding strategy.
  • Work closely with content and creative teams and agencies to optimize landing pages, testing ad copy and creative.
  • Work closely with measurement lead to leverage ad data and web analytics tools to monitor performance trends, analyze behavior, and identify opportunities for campaign optimizations.

As a Paid Media Specialist, you'll help leaders within the Marketing and Consumer Experience team make key strategic decisions by driving the paid media strategy and campaign orchestration across key digital marketing platforms.

This is an operational role in which you will be working with internal stakeholders and external agencies to manage media campaigns, conducting A/B tests and marketing initiatives focused on driving consumer engagement and business outcomes.

You will also work alongside the measurement lead to drive key insights to continuously test and improve the digital marketing strategy.

To do well in this role, you need strong technical expertise across key media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) and the drive to formulate innovative campaign strategies informed by data and insights.

You are a creative problem solver who enjoys coming up with new ideas to engage consumers across the digital marketing landscape.

Job Summary

Leads development and execution of digital strategy and user experience across web, social and mobile channels aligned with the company's strategic plan and initiatives. Partners with teams across the growing company in the development of innovative digital solutions that align with strategic market goals and initiatives, digital trends and technology. Educates and advises others on appropriate use of digital solutions for customer experience design incorporating voice of the customer, persona development, customer journey mapping, product/service development and design and market segmentation in support of customer acquisition and development.

Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree preferred. 3-5 years of related experience required. Experience includes but not limited to advancing digital solutions and strategy across web, mobile and social channels
