Job Summary:
In this role, you will manage the development and continual improvement of Experity's Digital Payments platform. You will work closely with our Merchant Services and our Gateway partners to build, document and drive processes to board and service clients, to develop reporting and key metrics and to maintain and continually improve our industry leading digital payments platform. Given the rapid growth we expect in our client base you will be the company's payments "go-to" problem-solver, bridge-builder and critical thinker. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding for merchant services platforms (especially Fiserv) and tools as well as payment gateways. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate with multiple internal organizations (product, engineering, finance, sales, marketing, and operations) and a strong track record of execution.
Responsibilities:
- Build and drive client on-boarding and servicing for Experity's integrated payment gateway platform
- Manage client conversion from one payments platform to another
- Work with Experity product teams to improve/upgrade our payment gateway integration functionality
- Manage the relationships with our Merchant Services and Gateway providers
- Utilize merchant service and gateway tools/portals (Clientline) to problem solve client issues
- Serve as a contact point for Experity's merchant services and gateway vendor partners, working with them to:
- Ensure any vendor-related issues encountered in the sale, marketing, product integration or implementation of vendor services are being addressed
- Develop an understanding of the solutions offered by these vendors and promoting their use across our customer base
- Coordinate pricing levels and structures in a way that maximizes services adoption and revenues
- Provide guidance and support for the following internal activities related to Experity's payments services
- Sales enablement collateral in partnership with Marketing and Sales Support
- Consultative resource on individual sales transactions - both pre-sale and post-sale - as needed
- Collaborate with implementation team to develop standard processes that ensure successful client training and implementations
- Serve as a secondary escalation point for existing customers to answer questions, provide visibility, and resolve any challenges
- Work with Payments leadership to execute the long-term payments service program strategy and road map, including the product and technology plan for the Payments ISO Platform
- Contributes to the creation of the departmental strategy in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives
- Executes and improves the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance overall effectiveness
- Other duties as assigned
Travel:
- Ability to travel as needed
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five or more years of experience with payments services in e-commerce, software or financial services industries
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the payments' services ecosystem
- Working knowledge of Payment Gateway operations
- Experience with payment platform on-boarding and servicing tools and portals especially with Fiserv/First Data Co-Pilot, Clientline and Business Track
- Focus and thoughtfulness on data and analytics to solve problems and experience achieving results through continuous improvement
- Experience in effectively working with multiple teams for collaboration and company-wide project delivery
- Tenacity to keep issues top of mind of relevant stakeholders and conviction to stand-by decisions
