Founded in 2017 by best friends Grace Lee (CEO & Founder) and Monica Ashauer (COO & Co-Founder), Birdy Grey offers affordable bridesmaid dresses under $100, and fun gifts and accessories for everyone in the bridal party. Brides and bridesmaids alike count on Birdy Grey for their most important day-so much so that we've dressed over half a million bridesmaids (and counting) in less than 5 years.
THE OPPORTUNITY: Product Manager
Birdy Grey is looking for a Product Manager who is passionate about advocating for the customer, has excellent product instincts, a passion for consumer insights, and a desire to create great experiences aimed at the future and challenging the status quo. The Product Manager will be focused on improving our DTC experience, will keep a pulse on new and emerging technologies, identify key vendor and partner opportunities, and identify new feature and initiative opportunities not yet captured on existing roadmaps. This is a new role that will collaborate closely across channels and will also work cross-functionally, building strong relationships with Technology, eCommerce, Operations and leadership.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and drive end-to-end product roadmap; create the vision, set the strategy and requirements, prioritize deliverables, drive discussions and identify technology and solution gaps, within budget an schedule
- Drive a product strategy and roadmap that aligns with Birdy Grey's goals and growth plan
- Partner with senior leaders on technology strategy development and execution
- Oversee and contribute to the construction of our customer-facing e-commerce web platforms
- Understand our customer and business, capturing insights and integrating them into solutions
- Establish and drive success metrics and KPIs for user experience and business growth
- Balance short-term, incremental improvements with long-term, game-changing initiatives
- Review tactical implications to products or business areas ensuring long-term goals and an enterprise view are represented in requirements
- Create and analyze regular and ad hoc reporting to monitor business KPI's and to measure the effectiveness of product enhancements
- Troubleshoot and research issues related to changing trends, behaviors, or performance to identify what is impacting the business and determine how to address
- Support and provide direction to the Technology, Ecommerce and Operations teams in determining the impact of new functionality to existing business processes and system functionality
- Maintain market awareness of industry trends and competitive landscape to help identify necessary updates and new opportunities
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE: QUALIFICATIONS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
EDUCATION: College degree required
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in product management, in e-commerce (Shopify)
- Proven track record of successfully delivering on product strategy in a high-growth environment
- Experience using competitive analysis, market insights to make data-driven decisions
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across design and engineering
- Proven success in building, developing and nurturing high performing teams with large ambitions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; can patiently and effectively communicate with a diverse and multicultural group of peers across time zones and continents
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills are critical to success in the position
- Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated mastery of multi-tasking, and the ability to adapt to change quickly
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Flexibility to take ownership of a wide-range of responsibilities
- Ability to flourish in a rapidly growing company, and can shift gears at a moment's notice
- Desire to be part of a team and the capacity to operate autonomously

- Experience in apparel and/or DTC Ecommerce
