Job Summary:

We seek a dynamic and innovative Digital Practice Lead to join our team. This role is responsible for setting the strategic direction for our digital efforts, building, and managing a best-in-class team of digital strategists and SMEs, and driving the digital agenda of our client base to deliver impactful business results.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the firm's digital strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Lead and manage the digital studio to deliver effective strategies and campaigns.
  • Provide leadership in designing and developing integrated digital marketing strategies that apply across multiple channels, including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Staying current with emerging digital technologies and trends—especially AI and Machine Learning—assessing their relevance and implementing them.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to translate business and marketing strategies into innovative and impressive digital campaigns.
  • Evaluate and optimize the customer experience across multiple channels and touchpoints.
  • Drive web analytics and insights, using data to inform decisions on strategic growth areas.
  • Work in partnership with other Ambit solution areas and product teams to identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Develop processes and KPIs to measure and demonstrate the ROI of digital initiatives and marketing campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality digital marketing services delivery.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulations and best practices in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, particularly those pertaining to digital communication and marketing.
  • Strong experience with business development in consulting and digital services. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in digital marketing, with 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in managing digital marketing teams and driving digital innovation.
  • Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is essential—especially with rare and specialty diseases
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies and a track record of developing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics, digital marketing tools, and experience with CRM software.
  • Ability to identify and recruit top digital talent to the team.
  • High-level proficiency in project management, including managing external agencies and vendors.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Demonstrable experience with regulatory compliance in the digital space for the biotech or pharmaceutical industries would be a plus.
  • Travel up to 25-35% for client meetings and workshops as needed
  • Comfort with a rapidly changing environment and ambiguity.

Base Salary is $225,000 - $275,000 – plus bonus and incentives
