The Role:

The Director, Business Operations reports to the VP of Operations and is responsible for creating and maintaining operations dashboards, performing financial analysis on strategic projects and initiatives. This role also develops and implements performance tracking mechanisms to assist in optimizing the operations from a patient experience, revenue and growth standpoint. This role is responsible for collaborating with Finance on operations department budgets, capacity forecasts and planning, and optimizing resource utilization.


Essential Functions: 

  • Performing Financial Analysis and making recommendations to the Executive team on key projects, initiatives and the financial impact on Operations of new products and services
  • Creating and maintaining Operations dashboards to monitor financial and service level performance
  • Building out and maintaining the budget in collaboration with Finance
  • Building and maintaining capacity planning for all operations departments
  • Driving a relentless focus on resource utilization 
  • Create cadence for reporting across all levels of organization, accountability structure, to inform performance management KPIs
  • Automate Px/Rph/Technician/clinician performance metric dashboards
  • Output: Fully operational automated dashboards linked to OKRs/KPIs -Individual performance metric dashboards/Formal Readout Cadence
  • Other job duties assigned

Your Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or similar Business degree (Master’s Preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Analysis and/or Operations Strategy
  • Ability to manage large scale, cross-functional projects with cost savings 
  • Ability to understand and manage interdependencies between different parts of the company
  • Strong understanding of using data analytic tools to perform deep dives
  • Ability to establish a strong point of view and present this POV to internal stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives
  • Healthcare, Pharmacy work experience preferred
  • Passion for SimpleHealth’s mission and the opportunity to grow with us

 Supervisory Responsibilities (if applicable)

  • Assign and monitor the activities of Workforce Planning Analyst/Manager
  • Perform performance evaluations and provide developmental feedback to direct reports
  • Participate in recruiting activities for Operations key roles
  • Provide coaching and development for direct reports

  • Reliable ability to work remotely

  • Standard business hours M-F
  • Travel requirements: < 25%
