Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Director of Change Management and Communications will own the creation and execution of change management and communication plans that inspire commitment and win the hearts & minds of our team members. In addition, this leader will drive our external communications strategy including public, media relations, executive communications and thought leadership, reputation management and crisis communication in service of advancing Spring Health’s position as a disruptor and leader.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build a change management playbook to increase team members’ readiness for and commitment to change and transformational growth.
- Build capability and equip leaders to become change agents and master communicators to increase transparency, two-way communication and commitment to critical changes.
- Proactively work with C-level executives and the Extended Leadership Team to identify key strategic and organizational developments that need communication, and create communication plans around these messages as necessary.
- Develop and deploy internal communication strategies and practices that are clear, transparent, and authentic and supported by high-quality, meticulous internal communication plans and assets.
- Integrate and streamline our methods and channels of communications to build meaningful connections, maximize efficiency, and reduce burnout in our hybrid, distributed workforce.
- In partnership with our PR agency and employer brand lead, execute an external communications strategy that highlights our team members, leaders, product launches, and company as thought leaders as we disrupt the healthtech industry.
- In partnership with our PR agency and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) lead, own both proactive and reactive external communications in response to social events and situations that relate to our company mission and advance our social impact.
- Partner with the People Team to build the change and communication plans for company level initiatives in the areas of wellbeing, organizational development, DEI, HR policy, and total rewards.
What we expect from you:
- Advanced education or certification in Change Management
- 10+ years leading change management & comms in a hyper growth environment
- Ability to speak and write in a way that is concise, commanding, and inspiring
- Insatiable curiosity to learn and understand our business and operating model
- High sense of urgency and results focus combined with a service orientation
- Proven track record of seeing around corners to anticipate and solve problems
- Naturally relentless in breaking barriers to get things done with speed and quality
- Outstanding ability to read the tone and sentiment of our culture and adapt accordingly
- This role can be based in NYC or Chicago and will have an expectation to be in office as needed
The target salary range for this position is $149,900 -$194,950 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
