Job Description

The Director is responsible for creating, building, and extending the sales efforts to our Actions customers, in key industry footprints. This is a hunter role focused primarily on winning new business from enterprise accounts on a competitive landscape in lead generation, lead engagement, and media agency products sets.Ā 

Candidates must have experience selling agency, performance media, lead generation, and lead engagement products to enterprise marketing teams within higher education, financial services, and insurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage VP and Executive Level contacts within target accounts who fit the Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Generate business opportunities through professional, dedicated research, prospecting and cold calling using strategic methods to build meaningful and relevant dialogue with prospects.
  • Orchestrate a series of meetings featuring internal experts to build value during the discovery and validation process with prospective clients.
  • Build Opportunity Briefs to internally communicate opportunities for integrated software and service solutions to meet the prospects' long term needs with core Zeta products.
  • Develop a pipeline of viable opportunities that exceeds quota, and keep abreast of prospects in assigned geographical territory
  • Own the sales cycle - from lead generation to closure
  • Accurately forecast Opportunity stages and close dates
  • Drive all aspects of the sales cycle including, proposals, scoping, pricing, and contract negotiations
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention together with the Account Management Team
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets


Experience & Education Requirements:Ā 
Successful candidates will have a background in marketing services, agency, and media sales with a significant performance component, as well as experience leveraging strategic relationships with external partners. Individuals must have a demonstrated sales track record developing and managing national accounts and a proven track record of forecasting and closing. Strong candidates must have 6+ years of high-value and highly relevant sales experience and have a consultative value-based approach to performance-based selling. Experience working within a fast-paced growing company environment is a plus. In addition, candidates should have:

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills including strong presentation/demo skills both in person and via phone/web presentation
  • Strong technology skills. Must be able to do complete or support product demonstration and credibly discuss performance optics
  • 10-15+ years of sales experience
  • Experience in agency sales in the past 2-3 years
  • Stable track record with 2+ years in each organization
  • Knowledge of any of the following industry sectors a plus – Education, Financial Services, Insurance, and other considered purchase, high LTV consumer verticals.


COMPENSATION RANGEĀ 

The compensation range for this role is $110,000.00 - $170,000,00 depending on location and experience. Ā
