Ibotta is seeking a Director, Client Partnerships to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding.

The Ibotta audiences business is growing and we need you to accelerate the growth to the next level. In this role, you will be partnering with advertising agencies to use Ibotta audiences for Consumer Packaged Goods Companies. Through collaboration, you will create winning audience strategies and activation that deliver client’s key performance metrics.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position, requiring 2 days in office. Preferred in-office hybrid days are Tuesday and Thursday. Candidates living in Chicago or New York may also be considered for remote work. Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:
● Execute and deliver on initiatives (commonly cross-functional) that provide business impact beyond individual’s accounts
● Develop and implement account strategy on top client, agency, and platform accounts
● Beat annual revenue targets through the development, advancement, and closure of partnerships and execution of new businesses and expansion of existing business
● Develop and deliver sales presentations that educate prospective clients on the value proposition of Ibotta’s data asset, suite of data products, points of differentiation, roadmap, and partnership opportunities
● Collaborate closely with other functional teams to ensure client partnerships are successfully executed from start to finish
● Travel up to 40%

What we are looking for:
● 6-8 years of experience in a data driven sales role
● Bachelor’s degree preferred
● Technical Skills: G Suite, Looker
● Experience in data and advertising ecosystems with proven track record of sales success in CPG and/or Retail verticals
● Familiarity with the ad tech ecosystem – who the key players are, the platforms, the providers, and overall state of the industry
● Proven ability to sell into high-level leadership (including C-level) at clients and their advertising agencies
● Ability to navigate complex organizational structures to identify and connect with the business owner/decision maker
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (candidates do a mock pitch as part of the hiring process)
● Expert negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close the deal
● Flexibility, accountability, resourcefulness, to work with little direction in a fast-paced startup environment
● Ability to think and act like an entrepreneur, utilizing creativity and independent thinking to deliver value to your stakeholders
● Great analytical skills: ability to measure the results of your work

Additional Details:
● This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, and equity. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals. Candidates living in Chicago or New York may be considered for remote work.
● Base compensation range: $75,000-$115,000. This range is not all inclusive as total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to the base salary that will increase total earnings. Talk to your recruiter to learn more. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
