This is a high-impact leadership role focused on building and scaling a modern data and analytics function that drives strategic decision-making across the organization. You will play a pivotal role in transforming data into a core business asset, enabling growth, innovation, and operational excellence. Acting as both a hands-on technical expert and strategic leader, you will define the data roadmap, establish robust governance frameworks, and ensure data reliability across diverse business areas. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to unlock insights, enhance performance, and support cutting-edge initiatives. Accountabilities:
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with business objectives
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of data engineers, analysts, and data scientists
- Architect and implement scalable data infrastructure, models, and reporting systems
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights supporting growth, operations, and research initiatives
- Establish and enforce data governance, quality, privacy, and security standards across all data assets
- Oversee the design and optimization of analytics tools and platforms to support evolving business needs
- Act as a hands-on contributor when needed, setting technical standards and best practices for the team
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data science, including leadership roles
- Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and modern analytics tools such as dbt, Databricks, or similar platforms
- Proven experience building and scaling data teams and infrastructure from early stages
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business insights
- Experience working in regulated environments with a deep understanding of data governance and privacy standards
- Familiarity with AI-driven data solutions and modern data architectures
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field; advanced degree is a plus
