Job Description

Team: Others

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Epic Revenue Cycle in United States.

This senior consulting leadership role sits at the intersection of healthcare operations, Epic system expertise, and revenue cycle transformation. You will act as both a strategic advisor and hands-on delivery leader, helping healthcare organizations optimize financial performance and operational efficiency across complex Epic Revenue Cycle environments. The role blends deep technical knowledge with client-facing advisory work, ensuring measurable improvements across end-to-end revenue cycle workflows. You will lead high-impact engagements while directly collaborating with client stakeholders to solve critical operational challenges. At the same time, you will contribute to shaping scalable methodologies and best practices for a growing consulting practice. This is a highly dynamic, client-centric role where execution excellence, trust-based relationships, and practical problem-solving are essential.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and deliver Epic Revenue Cycle engagements, including implementation support, optimization initiatives, and performance improvement programs across provider organizations.
  • Act as a hands-on advisor to client stakeholders, addressing complex challenges across front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end revenue cycle operations.
  • Drive measurable outcomes by improving financial performance, operational workflows, and system adoption within Epic environments.
  • Manage project execution end-to-end, including scope definition, issue resolution, delivery tracking, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare leaders, serving as a strategic partner for revenue cycle transformation.
  • Support sales and pre-sales efforts through solution design, subject matter expertise, and effort estimation.
  • Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, and scalable offerings for revenue cycle consulting services.
  • Mentor and guide internal team members, promoting knowledge sharing, delivery excellence, and professional growth.
  • Requirements:

    • 8+ years of experience in healthcare consulting or provider-side operations with strong Epic Revenue Cycle expertise (e.g., Resolute Hospital/Professional Billing, Cadence, Prelude).
    • Proven experience in client-facing delivery roles, balancing both strategic advisory and hands-on execution responsibilities.
    • Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes, financial performance drivers, and operational optimization strategies.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior healthcare stakeholders and influence decision-making.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex operational issues into actionable solutions.
    • Strong communication, organizational, and project management capabilities in fast-paced consulting environments.
    • Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution and delivery accountability.
    • Comfortable working remotely with willingness to travel as needed for client engagements.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salaried compensation with hybrid/remote flexibility.
      • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans.
      • Retirement plan including 401(k).
      • Life insurance, disability coverage, and health savings accounts.
      • Paid time off including vacation, sick leave, and public holidays.
      • Training and professional development budget to support continuous growth.
      • Work-from-home flexibility within the United States.
      • Charitable giving programs supporting causes important to employees.
      • Exposure to high-impact healthcare transformation projects across leading organizations.
