The Senior Director Global Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing the global marketing strategy to drive sales and share growth. As well as leading the global team, this role also needs to support Regional and Local Markets in strategy and execution of their marketing to drive commercial returns.
What you'll do
- Lead, direct and deliver all Global Marketing programs and activities to meet business objectives in full alignment with the Head of Brand and Experience.
- Articulate and drive execution of a full funnel marketing that improves awareness, engagement and conversion of Lingo customers through creation of compelling value propositions which differentiate from competitors.
- Evaluate success of marketing campaigns, and drive learnings to improve future operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish Marketing priorities, allocate resources and workload, manage team and guide their professional development.
- Monitor, analyze, and evaluate market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities; adjust marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
- Drive the cross-functional development and communication of the strategic marketing plan by partnering with Communications, Product and DTC teams to input into business plans and align priorities, and with Legal and Regulatory teams to ensure full compliance with all regulatory and corporate policies.
- Partner with the Head of Consumer Insight to ensure customer learnings are fully implemented into marketing plans and communicated across the organization.
- Partner with TA to build and scale a diverse, highly qualified global marketing team. Support development of regional and local marketing teams by building talent pool capabilities and succession. Ensure a safe and professional work environment for all.
- Lead the development and management of marketing budget and resources for all markets/products.
- Lead agency relationships across the marketing portfolio and ensure they are positioned for success and held accountable for results.
- Ensure appropriate training and education is provided to those personnel that are involved in the use of the Abbott Brand, that full compliance with regulations and standards is met, and protect the organization's reputation.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) Combination of education and professional experience across corporates and startups.
- Minimum 10 years Experience in Consumer/DTC marketing. Prior experience in US and European markets required.
The salary for this role is between:
$156,400 - $312,800
