This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Global Supply and Demand Planning in United States.

This is a senior supply chain leadership role responsible for building and scaling end-to-end global planning capabilities within a fast-growing, mission-driven organization. You will own demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory strategy across a complex hardware ecosystem, ensuring alignment between commercial demand and global manufacturing capacity. The role requires strong cross-functional leadership across Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and external suppliers to ensure seamless execution from forecast to fulfillment. You will play a critical role in strengthening supply chain resilience, optimizing inventory health, and improving production predictability at scale. This position combines strategic planning with operational execution, requiring both analytical rigor and hands-on leadership. You will also help design the systems, processes, and KPIs that enable scalable and efficient global supply operations.

Accountabilities:

  • Own the 12–24 month rolling demand forecast and lead the S&OP process to ensure alignment between commercial demand and supply capabilities.
  • Translate demand signals into actionable production, capacity, and procurement plans across global manufacturing and supplier networks.
  • Define and execute inventory strategy, including safety stock policies, reorder points, and buffer planning to ensure supply continuity.
  • Oversee MRP execution to ensure component availability and uninterrupted production flow across global operations.
  • Lead scenario planning and risk mitigation efforts to address demand variability, supply constraints, and market fluctuations.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing partners and external suppliers to ensure production readiness and execution against planning commitments.
  • Align supply planning with logistics and fulfillment strategies to ensure reliable global product availability.
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to track forecasting accuracy, supplier performance, inventory health, and overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Engineering to ensure integrated planning processes.
  • Requirements:

    • 12+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or operations leadership roles.
    • Strong experience in global manufacturing environments and supplier management across complex supply networks.
    • Deep expertise in S&OP and IBP processes, forecasting methodologies, and integrated planning frameworks.
    • Proficiency with ERP, MRP, APS, and business intelligence or analytics tools.
    • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders.
    • Experience in hardware manufacturing environments and performance-based supplier allocation strongly preferred.
    • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.
    • Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth environments with strong ownership and accountability.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary range between $170,000 and $190,000 annually (excluding equity and benefits)
      • Opportunity to lead and scale global supply and demand planning in a high-growth environment
      • Exposure to cross-functional leadership across operations, engineering, finance, and commercial teams
      • Mission-driven organization focused on meaningful, real-world health impact
      • Collaborative, diverse, and supportive culture emphasizing innovation and teamwork
      • Strong opportunity to build systems, processes, and strategy from the ground up
      • Dynamic and fast-moving environment with high visibility and impact
