TPG’s Integrated Media acquired a majority stake in the company in December 2020.

The Role:

The Director of Account Management will be responsible for leading the account management team and building relationships with existing clients. They will be responsible for developing and executing on strategies to grow the team’s accounts and ensure the team is providing quality, earnings-driving  services. 


What You’ll do:

  • Responsible for the retention and profitable growth of all of our existing client relationships, both managed and unmanaged client accounts 
  • Serves as the focal point of client contact for high value clients, marshaling other resources to drive performance (ie: performance marketing, advertising, sales leadership, merchandising leadership, and other teams). May be assigned specific accounts. 
  • Act as a consultant and advise both the team as well as existing clients on new growth opportunities, new service solutions, message development, audience development, analytics, and more. 
  • Lead account sales activity when internal teams develop new solutions, services, or products to present to existing clients 
  • Analyze team account assignment and develop a plan of action to grow revenue, profit, and partner earnings to achieve the team’s quota through a mix of retention and expansion 
  • Proactively and consistently call on existing partners to drive business conversations to uncover new opportunities, monitor performance and service, issues, competitive activity, and ROI to ensure a high revenue retention rate and service adoption 
  • Responsible for monitoring and optimizing sales and pipeline development activities in Salesforce and other tools 
  • Coordinate with the Sales and Merchandising teams to contextual data and assist in revenue and profit forecasting 
  • Coach, mentor, and manage a team of Account Managers 
  • Deliver team metrics through empowerment and accountability 
  • Attract and retain great people; knowing each individual’s capabilities and aspirations and investing in the growth of others 
  • Build strong and broad relationships across departments (Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Support, etc). 

About You:

 The ideal candidate will bring a deep knowledge of the digital media landscape. They’ll be client obsession and have a passion for innovation and best-practice sharing, while delivering exceptional results over time. 

What You'll Bring:

  • 4-6 years of experience in a client-facing role, managing client relationships
  • 2-3 years of experience managing teams 
  • Proven track record of building, managing, and growing high performing sales teams 
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills.  Experience using Excel and tools like Google Analytics a must.
  • A solid understanding of web technologies and the digital media revenue ecosystem.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and drive with the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic organization. Also, strong bias for action and getting things done, both individually and with teams.
  • Ability to work within a cross-functional team; ability to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of colleagues and external partners.
  • Must be highly organized, even in a rapidly evolving environment and like to create processes that scale.

  • Remote-Team Interview: You’ll be meeting with 7 team members on a video call. This is your chance to ask questions and see who this role interacts with on a daily basis.
  • Final Video Call: This is a great opportunity to get to know our President over video.
