At DNSFilter we have a singular mission: to challenge the way the industry thinks about security via DNS. We support over 15,000 organizations, including Fortune 500 customers like NVIDIA, and Lenovo, and provide DNS security to more than 4 million end users. And we are growing quickly! At the end of 2021 we were processing an average of 17B queries/day and now we are processing 1 trillion DNS queries/month!
To help realize our product vision and sustain our growth, we are looking for a Director of Business Development to lead our channel sales team to target some of our most important sources of revenue.
You will:
  • Partner with the Sales Leadership Team to create and implement a channel sales strategy
  • Align channel strategy to complement and enhance our multiple sales models
  • Build relationships with MSP and MSSP customers to enhance and grow the partner ecosystem
  • Build and maintain relationships with channel partners, including resellers, distributors and integrators.
  • Coach and mentor a sales team to support partners through the entire sales process
  • Develop and execute sales channel development programs that result in revenue generation
  • Collect and present weekly sales forecasting of channel sales team performance
  • Proactively evaluate, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis

You have:
  • Must be available to work 9am - 5pm Eastern Time
  • Demonstrated success with channel partners and complex channel relationships
  • Experience leading Sales teams in an IT or Cybersecurity SaaS environment
  • An educational or consultative approach to business development
  • A proven track record of enthusiastic mentoring while driving revenue and exceeding targets
  • Experience working remotely and leading remote Sales teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel, as needed, to industry conferences and events

Bonus points for:
  • Cybersecurity industry experience
  • Tech startup experience
  • Deep understanding of MSP and MSSP structures
