You will drive revenue growth through strategic account development, complex deal negotiation, and consultative solutions tailored to portfolio performance needs. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will collaborate across internal teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and represent the organization at industry events. This position is ideal for a results-oriented sales leader with a strong technical foundation, deep industry knowledge, and a passion for clean energy innovation in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead full-cycle enterprise sales, originating new prospects and expanding existing accounts within distributed generation, energy storage, and community solar portfolios
  • Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to meet aggressive revenue and expansion targets
  • Negotiate and manage complex contracts, including MSAs, SEFs, and asset management agreements
  • Collaborate with internal Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to refine scopes of work and deliver scalable solutions aligned with client needs
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and Voice of Customer initiatives to maintain high client satisfaction
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, client meetings, and events, acting as a trusted advisor on asset performance and technical solutions
  • Requirements:

    • 5–10+ years of experience in strategic sales, business development, or enterprise account management, ideally in solar, storage, or related energy sectors
    • Deep understanding of distributed generation project development, asset management, performance analytics, and commercial/industrial investment landscapes
    • Proven track record closing complex deals with developers, corporates, institutional investors, or asset owners
    • Analytical skills to interpret portfolio data and translate insights into actionable recommendations for executives
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
    • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, remote-first growth-stage environment and manage cross-functional collaboration
    • Passion for sustainability, clean energy, and driving positive environmental impact
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive base salary with performance-based bonuses and long-term stock options
      • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, including family plans
      • 401(k) plan with company match
      • Generous paid time off, 12 weeks parental leave, and sabbatical leave after four years
      • Flexible remote-first work environment with optional Seattle office access
      • Career growth opportunities through mentorship, internal mobility, and skill development
      • Inclusive, mission-driven culture with employee resource groups and wellness initiatives
