In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement a strategic communications framework that supports critical infrastructure initiatives across North America. Your leadership will be essential in guiding a diverse team while building relationships with key industry media. This position allows you to significantly shape the perception and narrative of infrastructure projects, reinforcing the organization's presence in the market. Accountabilities

  • Develop, lead, and execute a comprehensive external communications strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide strategic, holistic communications and marketing support for transportation, aviation, rail, transit, and related markets.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, enhancing the effectiveness of external communications and marketing programs.
  • Partner with business development teams to tailor communications strategies for major pursuits and campaigns.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key media outlets in the infrastructure and engineering sectors.
  • Position executives as thought leaders through media engagements and content creation.
  • Lead integrated communications campaigns that showcase innovative solutions across infrastructure markets.
  • Manage a team of communications professionals supporting the business unit.
  • Foster collaboration within Corporate Affairs and business units for unified messaging.
  • Develop metrics to measure the success of external marketing and media relations efforts.
  • Requirements

  • Highly collaborative individual focused on team success.
  • 15+ years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, or public relations.
  • Experience with large critical infrastructure companies or clients.
  • Ability to lead geographically diverse teams with at least 8+ years of management experience.
  • Proven experience in managing and mitigating crisis communications efforts.
  • Capability to navigate complex organizations and advise corporate leadership.
  • Skilled in explaining complex concepts to varying audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
  • Exquisite attention to detail and a creative mindset.
