Position Summary:

We’re looking for a Director of Growth Marketing with 3+ years of experience in life science/medical devices. You will be in charge of formulating and executing Segmed’s growth marketing strategy. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across the organization including product, engineering, and sales to prioritize and execute growth & marketing initiatives. You’ll play a critical role in defining and optimizing our go-to-market motion and influencing our offering for our clients. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, analytical marketing leader who can drive scalable and efficient growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and implement growth strategies to increase the user base and achieve market penetration.  Understand the needs and behaviors of the target audience within the life sciences and medical devices sectors, and tailor the strategy accordingly.
  • Lead Pipelines & Metrics Development: Develop and implement the lead generation and conversation pipelines and relevant metrics. Improve Segmed’s marketing strategy accordingly. 
  • Content Marketing: Plan and execute a content marketing strategy, creating engaging and informative content that resonates with the target audience. This could include white papers, blog posts, case studies, webinars, and more.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage the company's digital marketing efforts, including search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, social media marketing, and email marketing.
  • Event Marketing: Manage Segmed’s event marketing efforts. This might involve planning or attending industry conferences and trade shows, hosting webinars, and more.
  • Product Marketing: Position the company's product(s) or service(s) effectively within the market. Create compelling messaging and value propositions based on a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges of the target industries.
  • Marketing Analytics and Optimization: Use marketing analytics tools to track the success of marketing initiatives, using these insights to continuously improve the marketing strategy. 
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the life sciences or medical devices industries.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing, particularly in the life sciences or medical devices fields.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives for a technical audience.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and techniques, including SEO, PPC, and email marketing.
  • Experience with event planning and management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret marketing data and apply insights to improve marketing efforts.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
