Director of Infrastructure and Security

NinjaTrader is looking for a candidate to build its Infrastructure and Security team! This is a leadership position for the Infrastructure & Security areas, which also oversees the corporate IT function. The ideal candidate will not shy away from being hands-on when needed, especially while the team is growing. Success in this role would be to assemble a well-staffed and functional team that is working towards a focused vision within 12 months. Success also entails developing processes and enabling our business to function and scale with our growth and increase in demand. We aspire to reach SOC2 compliance in 18 months, scalable infrastructure in 6 months, including a CI-CD pipeline, secure GCP presence, and managed & secure corporate assets and data.

In this role, you will:

• Set the vision and manage the Infrastructure, Corporate Systems and Information Security programs
• Lead the design, maintenance, and operations of NinjaTrader’s cloud-based platforms
• Create standards to ensure security, stability and high availability of systems
• Promote awareness of Information Security Best Practices and representation across teams
• Ensure all new services meet NinjaTrader’s operational and security requirements
• Lead with a data-driven mentality; create and own metrics, Service level Objectives and Indicators for your areas
• Support Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning
• Conduct reviews to ensure security and risk compliance and participate in audits
• Manage network and systems operations team
• Mentor the team members, helping them grow in their careers
• Respond to audit questions and enquiries regarding our systems, security and infrastructure

Key Job Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant technical leadership experience
• Experience with one or more public cloud platforms
• Knowledge of global regulatory issues and trends in IT Security and Data Privacy
• Experience creating a complete set of infrastructure and Security policies
• Built diverse teams of motivated individuals
• A collaborative nature and a focus on doing what is right for the customer and NinjaTrader
• Able to explain technology to non-technology stakeholders including executive team
• Some degree of hands on experience
• Ability to debug issues and direct team to root-case analysis
• Having a data-driven mentality and able to build a data-driven culture
