Director of Media Services Strategy (Director of Sales)

The Position:
The Director of Media Services Strategy will report to our Chief Marketing Officer and will be responsible for:
- Managing the full-cycle sales process, from sourcing an opportunity to close, while presenting Brand Network’s media services (social advertising and activation) based on the client’s needs
- Generate revenue from new and existing business from brands/agencies, selling our unique social advertising and activation solutions
- Call on targeted global and mid-sized agencies and brands
- Secure global and mid-sized accounts
- Manage a large and diverse pipeline of opportunities
- Build deep knowledge and expertise in the media services and social media advertising market
- Work closely with our leadership team and our client services team to understand trends and develop new opportunities
A successful candidate will have many of the following characteristics:
- Experience in selling services and solutions to mid-sized and global agencies, and brands
- 5+ years of paid social, digital, or relevant mobile advertising sales experience with strong existing relationships at the agency and brand levelÂ
- An entrepreneurial mindset demonstrated with previous experience bringing innovative products or services to marketÂ
- Demonstrated ability to consistently close new business and meet or beat sales goalsÂ
- Superior communication skills, including face-to-face presentations, phone, and email
- Confident knowledge of the social media advertising sales landscapeÂ
- Bachelor's degree
