Job Description
EBG seeks a positive and passionate individual that is committed to becoming a service industry leader. The Director of Partner Development is responsible for the management of our brands & services account team. In this role you will grow partnerships with internationally recognized brands leveraging EBG's unique product marketing and e-commerce offerings. The Director of Partner Development will drive revenue through growing existing accounts as well as creating new partnerships and helping ensure our corporate clients’ satisfaction by growing and maintaining our base of premium, exclusive offers.
Essential Functions
- Manage a team of account managers responsible for driving advertising spend, commissions, and securing exclusive offers.
- Create and nurture long term relationships with EBG’s most valuable partners, and oversee relationships that the account management team owns.
- Provide structure and coaching to Account Managers to help ensure they contribute to quarterly and yearly sales objectives.
- Establish and develop new strategic relationships with key partners leading to new revenue opportunities.
- Drive retention and growth among our customers by understanding their specific business needs and helping them succeed.
- Deliver the EBG value proposition clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences within the marketing teams at local and national brands.
- Maintain an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet quota objectives while working through each opportunity.
- Work closely with our client management team to understand their client’s needs, and communicate value of our offers.
- Drive results in a fast paced, resource-conscious environment with a creative style and a strong vision.
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree and 5+ years in sales and business development or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding individual & team goals
- Ability to manage a portfolio of enterprise level partners
- Strong negotiation skills and an ability to persuade and influence at all levels of an agency or brand
- Knowledge in e-commerce and digital marketing with the ability convey value based on performance metrics such as click through rates (CTR) and conversion rates (CR)
- Experience building and maintaining a sales team
- Experience working in a fast-paced or high growth company
- Professional experience with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to reach company, customer, and personal goals
- Ability to travel domestically as needed up to 10%
- Persistence, creativity, and an overwhelming will to succeed
- Experience working in employee benefits or perks
- Knowledge of affiliate marketing and employee store platforms
- Experience with the wellness industry is a plus
