Thriveworks is a rapidly growing mental health counseling company on a mission to make counseling accessible and affordable for everyone.
With over 1600 clinicians and 300+ locations across 42 plus states, Thriveworks has quickly become the largest in-person mental health counseling company in the US and the largest employer of therapists in the US. Thriveworks has been growing organically (>200%/year) at scale and is looking to invest heavily in a Product team.
We're looking for a Director of Product to own the Client Experience product roadmap and run the team executing on it! The scope of this will range from consumer growth, provider enablement, and operational scale. Your goal is to ensure we’re building the right things in a logical, iterative manner while consistently delivering value to the business.
Unlike other companies, this is not a “software first” role. Product & technology is not the star of the show. Our clients and clinicians are the stars. Our technology merely enables the best clinician and client relationship and ensures the best experience and care possible for both.
About You:
- You have 7 + years of product leadership creating and delivering delightful products that resonate with customers' B2C and B2B partners
- You are data-driven, creative, continuously testing, and looking for new and innovative ways to delight the customer and or provider
- You’re a proven operator; you’ve consistently demonstrated an ability to deliver value to your team, broader org, and end-users
- You’ve scaled internal product teams with effective processes to increase reliability, delivery and production cross-functionally
- You’ve directly managed direct reports for 3+ years
- You are highly organized and detail-oriented; structured in your communication and thinking.
- You’re interested and passionate about the mental health space or healthcare in general.
What You’ll Do:
- Own and execute our product roadmap and process for the client experience
- Evangelize the value of product and design across all departments of the organization
- Define and deliver goals (OKR) for our product team to meet business expectations
- Lead prioritization process and coordination across business and tech teams
- Drive the product lifecycle from vision and planning through to product delivery, collaborating across the executive team and senior engineering, marketing, clinical, and operations leadership
- Lead a team of product managers focusing on Thriveworks core patient and provider product offering: onboarding, insurance, pharmacy, visit, communications, EMR, and app-based treatment tools
Your Background:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution ideally in a technical discipline (computer science, electrical engineering, design) or commensurate tech experience
- 10+ years' experience working in Product
- A demonstrated and focused desire to build products and services that customers will love
- Working knowledge of agile development methodologies
- An ability to think strategically and creatively
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication
- The capacity for self-motivation, independent initiative and creative problem-solving
- Launched products with multiple dependencies across a business
