This role is essential in leading the project development team, which focuses on launching innovative conservation finance projects. The Director will drive strategic initiatives and ensure successful execution while fostering collaborative relationships with both internal and external partners. In addition, this position is critical for navigating the complexities of conservation finance vehicles, integrating scientific knowledge with practical solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ecological restoration and demonstrate effective leadership in a remote environment.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the development and execution of project strategies for Forest Resilience Bonds and other conservation finance projects.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to drive complex project initiatives.
  • Evaluate new conservation finance vehicles and assess applicability in various ecosystems.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Advising on complex project management with a focus on innovative solutions.
  • Coordinate team efforts to align goals and achieve strategic outcomes in project development.
  • Requirements
