Director of Sales, Channel

What we're looking for…
The Director of Channel Sales North America is responsible for all partner-related activities including all facets of the channel supply chain. He/she is directly or indirectly responsible for all channel sales personnel within North America, which includes staffing, training and setting of strategic direction. Responsible for sales goals/quotas and budgets.
With the landscape of partners changing rapidly, this ever-important role will be responsible for developing and implementing channel strategies, presenting and educating partners, and sales teams and working with regional sales managers on channel support needs. Directs entire channel organization on channel strategy, management of partners, programs and processes and achievement of ScienceLogic revenue goals.
What you’ll be doing…
- Critical adviser to the Channel Vice President and subsequent leadership team in progressing key objectives and identifying and solving challenges.
- Direct and manage a major part of ScienceLogic sales activities through channel partnerships and overall channel strategy.
- Develop channel strategies, programs and hiring plans in support of all channel initiatives.
- Develop and cultivate executive relationships with key channel partners, distribution and other industry leaders, monitoring all metrics and assuring the team meets both sales and key selling objectives.
- Assist and organize annual channel Partner Summit and/or additional Channel Conferences and ensure their success.
- Lead and manage the Partner Advisory Council with their peer
- Recruit and retain the right channel partners
- Manage and serve as the escalation path for partners to ensure excellent partner experience
- Provide accurate and detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed quota requirements

Qualities you possess…
- 5+ years of related channel and management experience
- Recognizable as a leader by possessing outstanding communication and interpersonal skills throughout the Channel Industry
- Existing relationship with Distributors, Technology Service Brokers (formerly known as Master Agency(s) and Partner community
- Ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with a broad set of executives and constituencies
- Strong results orientation with demonstrated track record of success in Channel Sales
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills with Channel Partners
- Ability to work in a fast paced and independent environment
- Ability to build and sustain high performing teams in multiple states
- Experience in liaising with multiple operational contacts at executive and senior management levels
- High degree of adaptability, quantitative, and leadership skills
- Ability to support multiple states and technologies
