Spring Health is looking for a Director of Sales Development (BDR/SDR) who will partner closely with Marketing and Sales leadership to drive inbound and outbound pipeline generation. This individual will be responsible for pipeline targets by leading BDR managers and BDRs Reporting to the Vice President of Pipeline Growth, this position offers an outstanding and exciting opportunity to work for a mission-driven organization. Please note, this is a hybrid position working out of our NYC office 3 days a week.

What we expect from you:

  • A leader with a passion for developing talent
  • Historically low attrition rates as a leader and cares deeply about both performance and culture
  • Willing to get their hands dirty and jump in to support reps on cold calls, email crafting, and more
  • Experience in building inbound and outbound plays, predictive analytics, and sales automation tools to innovate our prospecting methodology.
  • 7+ years experience in technology sales leadership and 3+ years of second-line experience
  • Experience leading and developing a global inbound sales development team at scale (>30 team members).
  • Exceptional development track record of first and second-line managers
  • Experience working in a rapidly growing, fast-paced organization selling technology solutions to Enterprise, Mid Market and SMB

What you’ll be doing:

  • Focus on the quality of opportunities without sacrificing quantity. Core metrics you should care deeply about are close rates, pipeline contribution, qualification rates, and meeting-held rates.
  • Help rebuild the day-to-day operations of the organization to ensure scalability, efficiency, and long term growth
  • Drive tight integration with sales leadership for opportunity handoff and pipeline reviews
  • Plan, forecast, and understand ramp-adjusted capacity to ensure the team is grown effectively, in tandem with the needs of our sales organization
  • Prioritize training and development of reps 

The target salary range for this position is $148,600 - $183,550, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and variable commission. OTE (On Target Earnings) for this role is $212,285 - $262,214 and includes base salary and variable pay. The variable portion is received only if performance goals are achieved as expected and may be higher or lower than anticipated OTE. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
