Team: Account Executive

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of Sales, Strategic Accounts in the United States.

This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth and strategic execution across a portfolio of the organization’s most critical public sector accounts. You will lead a high-performing team of enterprise Account Executives focused on complex, multi-stakeholder law enforcement agencies and large-scale government customers. The role blends people leadership, strategic account planning, and operational rigor to expand adoption of a full technology ecosystem spanning hardware, software, AI, and real-time operations tools. You will act as both a player-coach and executive sponsor on high-impact deals, shaping long-term partnerships and mission-critical deployments. The environment is fast-paced, mission-driven, and highly collaborative, requiring strong alignment across product, sales, and customer success functions. This is a remote, field-oriented leadership position with significant travel and direct engagement with senior public safety stakeholders across the U.S.

Accountabilities

This role is responsible for leading a strategic sales segment, driving bookings performance, and ensuring successful adoption of a complex technology ecosystem across major public sector accounts. It combines team leadership, deal execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver sustained revenue growth and customer impact.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of enterprise Account Executives focused on strategic State & Local Law Enforcement accounts
  • Own bookings, pipeline health, and revenue performance across the T1200/strategic accounts segment
  • Develop and execute go-to-market and territory strategies aligned with enterprise growth objectives
  • Drive large, multi-year, multi-product deals and support complex RFP and procurement processes
  • Serve as executive sponsor on high-value opportunities, building relationships with senior law enforcement and government stakeholders
  • Ensure operational excellence through forecasting, pipeline management, and disciplined sales execution
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, finance, and customer success to optimize strategy and account expansion
  • Requirements

    The ideal candidate brings deep enterprise sales leadership experience, particularly within complex, multi-product environments and public sector markets. Strong operational discipline, executive presence, and the ability to lead distributed teams are essential.

    • 10+ years of progressive enterprise or strategic sales experience, including 5+ years in sales leadership roles
    • Proven success managing high-performing sales teams in SaaS, hardware/software, or public sector technology environments
    • Experience selling into State & Local Government or public safety/law enforcement strongly preferred
    • Strong track record of exceeding multi-million-dollar revenue and bookings targets
    • Expertise in managing long, complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder procurement processes
    • Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and territory planning capabilities
    • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with comfort engaging senior government and public safety leaders
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
