We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to spearhead the expansion of our SMB segment for the EMEA region. This role will allow you to work closely with our outsourced vendor team and act as the voice of Reddit’s SMB advertiser base for our internal teams and cross-functional partners. The leader we’re looking for has experience building out a scalable SMB sales program and can effectively motivate outsourced teams of sellers to succeed. You would be a key pillar to Reddit’s business strategy as we forge new partnerships with regional brands across EMEA.
The role will be based in Lisbon, working onsite with our vendor partner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fully own revenue growth and quota attainment for the SMB channel for EMEA while optimizing for a high ROI (Revenue/Opex)
- Drive optimizations of workflows/processes at our vendor sites, while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Support & mentor our vendor teams to successfully achieve quarterly revenue targets
- Fully own Opex budgets and investment decisions that drive growth and ROI
- Drive the business to achieve ambitious advertiser growth targets across EMEA
- Work together with Sales Leadership, Sales Operations and Marketing Leadership to create scaled end-to-end programs and sales initiatives
- Work closely with Marketing across funnel management, lead generation and GTM strategies with a view to lift conversion rates and optimize leads
- Lead regular pipeline and performance meetings with vendor sales leadership to communicate and align on strategies to drive performance
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Sales Program Management or Sales Management
- 5+ years of managing Outsourced Sales Operations
- Proven background in building outsourced sales operations from the ground up
- Experience selling into the SMB segment with a history of exceeding revenue targets
- Superb communication and project-management skills, and will be able to communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand way
- Strong analytics and quantitative skills - experience using data in developing and dashboards for performance monitoring and development
- Proven experience with program creation and deployment using both in-house and 3rd party resources
- BA / BS degree or equivalent work experience
