Could this be you

In this newly created role, you will develop and direct patient engagement strategies for our growing patient base and build corresponding campaigns based upon segmentation and engagement KPIs. Strategies are omnichannel and feature personalization for optimal engagement and patient empowerment. In addition, oversee the development and management of the enterprise CRM programs to align content and assets for campaign execution. Your partners will include marketing team members for platform and campaign planning, operations and measurement, clinical team members for content and cadence as well as technology team members for integrations.  You’ll also help manage outside content and campaign partners. 

How you can make a difference

  • Bring your expertise around best practices in consumer engagement and patient journey mapping through omnichannel modalities and content.
  • Develop and operationalize engagement strategies, initiatives and programs that support the patient experience strategy at the practice level, e.g. new patient onboarding and patient advocacy
  • Serve as the key Marketing leader collaborating with business and clinical leaders across VillageMD, to integrate patient centered programs and initiatives into marketing plans to help streamline patient touches and ensure the patient experience is best in class
  • Lead ongoing improvements in Marketing program reach and yield in support of our patient retention and engagement KPI’s using innovative solutions to close gaps where necessary
  • Manage internal resources, agencies, and contractors with a clear understanding of the optimal workflow.
  • Maximize and mature the patient engagement roadmap, leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other tools in our tech stack that support the optimal patient journey (e.g. right audience, right time and channel, right message strategies)
  • Support marketing efforts focused on health plan growth initiatives, including Medicare eligible, Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial risk members.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships including clinic operations, technology, market leadership, and cross-functional marketing peers.

  • Ability to maintain a high sense of urgency and accountability in delivering measurable results in line with agreed upon timeframes.

Experience to drive change

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or a relevant field required
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive business experience; recent experience in a marketing leadership role
  • 10+ years’ experience in consumer engagement, communications, omnichannel marketing, using Salesforce marketing cloud and related apps, and building customer journeys
  • Preferred experience working in a grassroots marketing environment
  • Program management experience
  • Healthcare experience and public company experience preferred
  • Ability to mobilize resources to achieve results
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence; can integrate with a team, engender trust and leverage relationships to get work done
  • Proven project management skills evidenced by the ability to effectively coordinate multiple vendors and resources, meet deadlines, and adhere to budgets
  • Hands on approach including strong command of details
  • An optimistic outlook and “can do” attitude
  • You have a keen focus on results, and can navigate within ambiguity while maintaining a high-level of humility
  • Ability to travel as needed to our markets; anticipate 15% travel initially, but could fluctuate based on need
