Flex is looking for a Director Of People Ops, In this role you will lead a small team of business partners and generalists supporting a rapidly scaling business while offering best in class people support. This leader will build upon a strong foundation of people operations while driving forward a people partner mode, shifting an operational function into a strategic arm of the business. As an advocate for our teams broadly this hire will be a force multiplier in continuing to make Flex a great place to work.
The perfect candidate for this role is comfortable navigating the waves of a scrappy startup while maturing a function into a smooth stable operating environment.
- Coach, Mentor, and develop a team of HR Business Partners and generalists
- Own and optimize People team processes and core services to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Act as a member of the people leadership team to develop initiatives that drive forward the business, our culture, and most importantly our people.
- Serve as a strategic partner to Execs and business leaders across the organization and drive forward initiatives on career pathing, culture, performance management etc
- Operate as a cross-functional leader building strong relationships with Legal, Finance, IT etc
- 8+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role
- 3+ years of experience leading a team of HR/People operations professionals
- Experience leading People Ops for a remote and distributed team
- Experience working for a early or mid-stage startup- we aren’t building from scratch, but rather looking for a People Ops leader who can help us “level up” a fantastic foundation
