The Director, HR Operations and Total Rewards will be responsible for the design, implementation, management and optimization of the HR processes, Systems and Total Rewards. They will drive the HR organization operational excellence via process redesign and continuous improvement.Â
Supervisory Relationship
This position reports to the VP of Human Resources and interacts with other departments, administrators and employees company wide. This position coordinates and manages the work produced by People Operations Associates, HR Generalist(s), Benefits Administrator(s) and other department members in order to ensure completion of projects.
Essential Functions
Build, manage, and evolve a team in the fields of HR Operations, Systems and Total Rewards.Â
HR Operations/Systems:
Identify opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes and partner with teams on implementation of solutions.Â
Perform regular business process and policy reviews to make ongoing suggestions and create action plansÂ
Drive the HR analytics strategy and deliveryÂ
Manage the reporting of Human Resources information and establish procedures for processing and maintaining employee dataÂ
Manage the ongoing delivery of people team projects, setting objectives and timelines, tracking owners and achievements, facilitating change management, and assessing progress and blockers
Design and own the technology roadmap & manage vendor relationshipsÂ
Oversee onboarding and offboarding for the company, review process for improvement/ automation.Â
COMPLIANCE
Participate and lead policy reviews as well as compliance activities to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and regulations
Provides consistent interpretation/application of HR policies and procedures across the company
Audits HRIS system for accuracy, integrity and functionality
Provides leadership and oversees employee information collection, analysis and
reporting; supervises the input of data and ensures data integrity
Assesses HR operational needs and changes policies and procedures in order to ensure efficiencies and seamless delivery of services to employees.Â
Audits (401K, SOX, SOC2 etc)Â
Compliance (AAP, Annual Training)
Manages Leave of Absence and ADAAA- ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.Â
TOTAL REWARDS
Provide direction and strategy to the Benefits Administrator as it relates to operations of benefits programs, to include: group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, travel and accident plan, flexible spending plan, retirement plans, etc. Â
Ensure awareness and facilitate campaigns to increase benefit utilization
Conduct Competitive review of benefit offerings to meet needs of dispersed workforce
Cost Benefit analysis to keep run rate of benefits both competitive and employee focussed
Oversee open enrollment
Conduct Merit Cycle and maintain Salary levels as it relates to external market data
Review Internal Equity and Disparate impact
Manage the implementation of recognition platform and provide analytics on its adoption and usage
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus 10 years experience leading HRIS and operations in complex global organizations HRIS experience requiredÂ
Broad knowledge of HR policies, practices, disciplines and the full employee lifecycleÂ
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skillsÂ
Proven experience at successfully developing & strengthening management controls and operational processesÂ
Highly motivated, detail oriented, dependable, and organized with a customer service focus.Â
Background in benefits administration, to include State Laws for leave, open enrollment
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated experience in a human resources role, with people management experience.Â
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Strong proficiency in the functional use of key business applications including HRIS and ATS., preferably BambooHR
Experience administering employee benefit plans.
Ability to interpret and incorporate ExtraHop policies and procedures into practice.
Ability to translate HR operational needs and requirements to others.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with persons within and outside the organization.
$136,000- $180,000 + benefits+ options
